Using the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation’s accredited 2-day program for Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C, participants learn the relevant skills of patient care to protect and support the life of a suddenly ill or injured person until emergency medical services arrive. Topics include single-person CPR, how to use an AED, bleeding control, shock management, stabilizing fractures, and more.
Certification is valid for 3 years. To maintain high course quality and maximize skills, the participant to manniquin ratio is 1:1, and an AED Trainer is available for every 3 people. The maximum class size is 12.
Standard First Aid Renewal (1-day course) and Emergency First Aid (1-day course) are also available. Contact us to find out more*

Designed for every day Canadians to learn and maintain life-saving skills, Heartsaver® can be completed in as little as a morning or an afternoon. Participants learn single-person CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and how to respond to choking emergencies through videos and hands-on practice. To maximize skills, the participant to manniquin ratio is 1:1, and an AED Trainer is available for every 2 people.
Certification is valid for 1 year. Private classes in Heartsaver® are available from ELCO Hospitality for groups of up to 6 students.
